Binghamton is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Binghamton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A few years ago, BU hosted a sounds of China camp that I attend. Even though I was not a BU student back then, BU opened its arms and welcomed me like I was one of them. Their employees have always treated me with respect and fairness and in return I had been tried to be very civil with people that I met on the campus just as BU would expect of any other student. Just feeling welcome at BU really gave the sense of community that Binghamton University is trying to drive home. Throughout the camp that summer, BU had been consistently very polite and courteous to my peers and I. It made me look up to BU as the model school. When it comes to the BUN hill rezoning, I wasn't really satisfied with that. But I understand that BU needs to be able to house their students. So, I get. I guess in that regard, I'm willing to forgive that. I think instead of being upset with BU, I think we as a people should think of ways of helping BU make this area better. I think we all have a common goal of working together right to bring more business to this area. We should think of BU as collaborators and innovators. Right now, I'm thankful to have BU in the community because they do work on ground-breaki

Took a 4 hour drive from Long Island New York up to Birmingham University, upstate New York for the day to tour the campus as my daughter will be a freshman come late August. The Campus is very nice. The students have everything they need there.. The dining hall is amazing as well. Many food options. Nothing like I had when I was in college. Binghamton University is the #1 SUNY College in New York and Isee why. Very happy and proud parent here. I ditdnt venture into town much but in passing I noticed a local mall, Super Walmart, Wegmans, Texas Roadhouse and a host of other stores making it convenient if the students need to go off campus. It's a nice ride through the mountains however you don't want drive there at night if you're not a local. It's a bit dark and desolate and US 17 is very windy. Overall a great experience and nice ride. Any parent with a College bound kid would be more than elated for their child to accepted at Binghamton University.

Be careful if you receive scholarship, they have tactics to not credit you for the semester. These were what I encountered: 1. after one year, if you are out of state, they want you to apply for local resident. If your parents don't live and work in New York, it's useless. The process delayed the scholarship and at the end they will say too late for the semester to give you the credit. 2. Scholarship credit never showed up. You wrote several emails and no reply. When you talk to them in person, they said will check your emails. What a scam.

I love Binghamton University. I just went on a trip there today with my class. We are currently high school juniors. The campus is amazing I love the chill vibes that are given. I would definitely rate the campus a 9/10. We didn't get to see everything due to time, but we went to many of the "important" buildings. The students here seem very nice.. the services provided by the campus are top tier which is great. Definitely going on the application.
